Call Out

Info

Call Out is a trading card game centered around movement culture—including breakdance, general dance, and urban art. Building on a rich universe and a successful online launch, the team brought me on board for a complete rebranding to ensure the brand's long-term sustainability. My mission was to build a modular visual identity adaptable across all their products, within a tight timeframe and a limited budget.

The identity of Call Out is built on two core pillars. The first is its message: a narrative set in a totalitarian society where the population uses art and dance to rebel. The second is the physical essence of breakdance, characterized by long, fluid motions suddenly interrupted by sharp, sudden breaks. The logotype, tagline, and graphic elements all follow this duality. Inspired by street art tags and stickers, a custom outline system was developed to unify the brand's visual components. Another key objective was to rethink the card design, securing a long-term artistic direction for upcoming seasons. I designed a versatile design system on Figma, allowing the team to dynamically activate specific visual parameters depending on the card type, layout complexity, and color palette. Finally, I had to fully design the Kickstarter page with Hugo Kuder, graphic designer, for their December 2025 campaign.
